Can I pick up sealcoat at the yard?
Yes. Will-call is at our yard in Rathdrum, off SR-53. Call ahead so the order is made and waiting instead of being made while you stand there.
Home ground. Load out at the yard in Rathdrum, or take delivery up and down US-95 once the order is a load.
North Idaho is the will-call region. The plant is in Rathdrum, off SR-53, which puts Post Falls, Hayden and Coeur d’Alene inside a short haul of the yard — close enough that hitching a trailer and loading out yourself is the ordinary way to buy.
Up here the material is called sealcoat. It is the same tank a contractor two states over orders as slurry seal: asphalt emulsion, sand and bentonite clay.
Further out — Sandpoint, the Silver Valley, down US-95 to Moscow — it goes on a truck once the order is big enough to be a load. Call ahead either way, so the order is made and waiting rather than being made while you stand there.
Pavement here fails by water, not by sun. Wet winters, a freeze-thaw cycle that can run through zero and back several times in a week, and lakes and aquifer close enough that the base rarely dries out. Add winter sand and magnesium chloride ground into the surface by plows, and an unsealed mat spends five months absorbing everything that lands on it.
Typically mid-April to the end of September. Spring stays wet and nights come back early, so the working days inside that window are fewer than the calendar suggests.
Super Seal 100 goes down at 60°F and rising — whatever the calendar says, that is the rule that decides a working day.

Yes — one product, Super Seal 100. Up here it is called sealcoat; a contractor two states over orders the same tank as slurry seal. It is asphalt emulsion, sand and bentonite clay, mixed at the yard.
Yes, once the order is a load. Delivered loads start at 3,500 gallons, and we can supply bulk quantities up to 4,500 gallons. Closer to the yard most buyers load out themselves.
The rule is 60°F and rising. Around here that is typically mid-April to the end of September, and the wet spring takes some of those days back.
It is sold in bulk and it lives in an agitated tank, mixed weekly, where it cannot freeze. Bring the tank you haul in, and tell us its size when you call so the order is sized to it.
Sealer is priced on volume and distance. Bring these and the quote is a conversation, not a callback.
Sets the volume. A rough measurement beats a guess by a mile.
Raveling, oxidised, or just dull — it changes what the surface will take.
